Ships Wheel Aneroid Barometer
An aneroid barometer in the form of a ship’s wheel.
Aneroid simple means no liquid.
The barometer was made by Short & Mason circa 1950s, with a plaque on it being presented for January 1960. The plaque states “From R.E.O. 25th January 1960”. There is an imprint of a number on the reverse side of 2573.
It is made in oak with brass and is a heavy item for its size.
Measures 26cm in diameter and 7cm in depth.
